A Sister Wives star shared her excitement, declaring “today’s the day” as she marks a new chapter in her life.
Janelle Brown shared a walkthrough Instagram video offering a first look inside her new home, built on land she purchased with her daughter, Madison Brown Brush, and son-in-law, Caleb Brush, following several years of planning and construction. The video highlighted the project’s long-awaited completion, giving fans a glimpse at the space she now calls her own.
In a text overlay, Brown wrote, “Today’s the day. My house is finished. Here’s what it’s like walking in.”
The TLC star showed off the stunning downstairs area, which included a gorgeous kitchen area, large family room, master bedroom, and bath. The home also has a second level, but it is unclear how many rooms are located in that area.
Brown has kept fans updated on the home’s progress for over a year. From planning to construction to completion, the abode is a long-awaited dream for the reality star, who has longed for a place to call her own since the Brown family moved from Las Vegas to Flagstaff, Arizona, in 2018.
On February 18, she shared a photo on the home’s front porch. In a slideshow, Brown began, “Getting close to moving day, and my heart is exploding. This home represents more than a place to live.”
“It’s the first place I’ve chosen without needing agreement or permission. Every decision here was mine. From the land to the layout to the timing. What stopped working for me was waiting to feel “certain” before committing,” the TLC star continued.
Brown concluded, “I had to learn to trust myself instead. This house holds proof that I can choose and support myself.”
